about the penman

Lovely to meet you! My name is Chantelle Hoffmann and I'm the "hand" behind the work at Bespoke Strokes Calligraphy.

My signature calligraphy style seeks to reflect a timeless, classic beauty. As a lover of history and academia, my work is rooted in the traditions of Master Calligraphers of ages past in order to create work that will please for ages to come.

The studio was first opened in 2014 in the small town of Henley-on-Thames, England where inspiration was found daily in the beauty of the natural surroundings, on antiquated stone buildings, pub walls, and in the royal mail. I now work out of a farm studio located near my hometown of Seattle, Washington - another area ripe with natural inspiration.
